Pretty decent bourbon, especially for the price. Smooth, little bite, not too harsh on the afternotes. Good enough to drink straight, with ice, or in a cocktail. Will buy again.

Nothing fancy, solid daily sipping and mixing bourbon.

Barrel 16508-72 Bottle 16 of 218 115 proof Strong Rye Finish follows a smooth start, little bite in the middle. Spice and flavor lingers long after drinking and is quite pleasant. Flavors seem to compound as you continue to enjoy. Enjoyed best over ice with a few minutes to dilute.
