9/13/14. 88/100. Color is a nice oaky gold. A dryness on the palate with balance from orchard fruits like apple and pear with a hint of treacle sweetness. Crisp, a touch of salty peat with a finish of vanillas. Tasting panel magazine: 91/100-aug'14.

2 star but better than beam white. 82/100 at best. Oak is much more present but not the good flavors or balance; its pretty hot, spicy, and astringent. The fruit flavos of white label are still prevalent but muted by spice, the floral notes are really dimished from the white label.

I agree with a sub 80pt score, mostly because of the lack of strong finish, the lack of rich character, and lack of oak. Herbal like there is some rye in the mash, light sweet of cherries and vanilla, tart and not "mellow" it needs more age for balance.

Solid bourbon from heaven hill, I think the tasting notes already present pin this bourbon correctly. Its oaky with a sweetness of caramel and some fruitiness. Rich and farely pungent, a bit spicy. 88/100 is a solid rating.

N: tannin, dark fruit, light peat, vanilla, tobacco, rose wine nose, fruit, zest, complexity. T: mouth-watering very rich, light peat, dark fruits, at 50% it's a bit hot. 89-91/100.

earthy peat, undertones of orchard fruit, dark cocoa, vanilla and marzipan. Creamy texture cut by light alcohol, pineapple notes, honey and peat. Lightly complex finish.

Light oak, vanilla, chocolate, but you can taste the grain.
