Tastes

Nose: Vanilla, Australian bush and vegetation, bourbony, it smells innocuous and very different to the taste. Palate: Bam the red gum hits in the face Uniquely Australian in red gum cask. Bit of a burn. Warming. Licorice and sourness. Finish: Medium with lots of licorice and red gum acidity.

Nose: sweet wood, molasses, cereals, wheatbix Palate: very port like sweetness, syrupy, Finish: long and in depth Comments: pity the abv is slightly low and the port sweetness overpowers the balance but I do like a more sweet whisky.

Smooth and sweet, light and shallow depth Nose: caramel, vanilla, oaky Taste: smooth, oaky, vanilla, After: slight tobacco, more oak, short finish

A bit young and light. Not bad for price.

No ice needed. Nice neat. Sweet and light. Chocolate drowns it. Ice drowns it.

Notes of tobacco, full face smoke, peaty and oily. Bandaids and iodine. Salty and briny.
