Grangestone Highland Single Malt Bourbon Cask Finish
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed April 6, 2020 (edited November 8, 2024)On the nose, a lot of oak spice. Cherry and dark chocolate as well. Taste wise, Cherry and Dark chocolate continue to have a large presence. Oak as well. Also hints of apple. Finish is a little rough. Lot of ethanol and burn at the end. Solid whiskey.32.99 USD per Bottle -
Peaty and fruity. Very sweet once you get past the smoke. I get a lot of pear in the nose. Very sweet, again I get a lot of pear. I see people comment citrus but I get pear. Once you swallow, the peat smacks you with a 2x4. So the finish is very bitter and very campfirey. Very enjoyable, especially if you love the smoke.42.99 USD per Bottle

Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 5, 2020 (edited April 7, 2020)Very caramelly on the nose, cherry notes. Taste has a heavy butterscotch flavor, which evolves into a caramel flavor. Finally during the finish it’s heavy on the butter. Very light mouthfeel, easy to drink!39.99 USD per Bottle
