This is my #1 go-to bourbon, and I will put it up against just about any other bourbon I've ever tried, including Jefferson's Reserve and Blanton's.

At only $8 for the bottle, I really expected this to be disgusting. But I had been told that my late grandfather used to drink Ten High back in the old days, so I just had to give it a try! To be honest, I still like this better than black label Jack. The flavor is not too bad, although it doesn't last very long on the tongue. I've had a lot better, but I've also had a LOT worse.

I don't like this as much as the Evan Williams white label Bottled-in-Bond, and I'm not sure it's even as good as the usual Black Label Evan Williams. But I do think it's a pleasant tasting, drinkable bourbon. Not my favorite, but not bad either.

I tried Bulleit a long time ago, on a friend's recommendation, and I remember liking it pretty well. But it's been awhile, and I don't remember much about it. So I should probably try it again soon, and see what impression it makes on me now.
  9. Beefeater London Dry Gin (47%)

    London Dry Gin — England

    Tasted
This seems to be a very classic, popular gin, so I think I'm gonna have to try it real soon.
  10. Tanqueray London Dry Gin (47.3%)

    London Dry Gin — Scotland

    Tasted
I've heard that this is a pretty classic London Dry Gin, so I'd like to give it a try someday soon.
