Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Small Batch Bourbon (High Rye Bourbon)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 1, 2020 (edited April 24, 2021)Complex taste which sits on the tongue for awhile. A kick to start with smokiness and apple pie with the slight burn from rye in middle ending with a sweet caramel. Recommend letting sit. Can be consumed straight but water complements which is how I am drinking -

Bourbon — Kentucky (bottled in Oregon), USA
Reviewed August 1, 2020 (edited November 7, 2022)For an 8 year old bourbon this is a fine pour. Taste a little bit of Chardonnay oak and cigar wood and it’s not overly sweet. Balanced with notice of light char barrels. Rounding up to a 4 because the Mrs really enjoys this. -
