Aberlour A'bunadh
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed August 20, 2019 (edited November 17, 2019)This is batch 62 diluted to 45 ABV. In order of appearance on the nose, I'm getting unripe banana, figs, dates, berries, wood spices, the banana turns a bit rubbery, followed by milk chocolate, a faint licorice maybe for a brief moment? and maybe some orange. On the palate is berries turning into caramel or toffee and baking spices with a rich, creamy mouthfeel and lengthy finish. There is a tad bit of harshness in the spirit, hinting at its youth. Great whisky.85.0 USD per Bottle
