My Scotch pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with only around 10-15 true tastings, but I was fortunate to participate in a private (Friends only) Johnnie Walker Tasting with Blue, Black, Green, Red, and two Limited Game Of Thrones Editions (Fire & White Walker). I did not really appreciate the GOT versions including the Song of Fire. I believe it to be better than the Johnnie Red Label but won't buy it again.

Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed September 30, 2022 (edited December 16, 2022)My Scotch pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with only around 10-15 true tastings, but I was fortunate to participate in a private (Friends only) Johnnie Walker Tasting with Blue, Black, Green, Red, and two Limited Game Of Thrones Editions (Fire & White Walker). I will say that the Green Label, being a little more friendly to the wallet then the Blue, was FANTASTIC! I am a Bourbon guy at this stage of my life, but I keep a bottle of Green on Hand just in case a guest is a scotch drinker or I feel like something different. I've gone through a few bottles of it so far and the experience continues to be the same. This is a great stock for your home collection! -
My Scotch pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with only around 10-15 true tastings, but I was fortunate to try Blue label early on. I found it sharp to start but after 3rd sip, I really enjoyed the depth of flavors. I'm not sure I'm ready to pay the price to buy the Blue label. I will say that the Green Label, being a little more friendly to the wallet, was just as enjoyable!

Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 30, 2022 (edited November 3, 2022)I do like this expression by Jefferson's but prefer the Ocean Aged over the Very Old... It is decent to sip but I won't be stocking on my shelf. My Bourbon/Whiskey pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with more than 50 tracked tastings, but less than 100 as of 2022. (That's not all consumed, just all appreciated outside of shots and mixers) -
Unfortunately I can't remember the exact Voyage but believe this to be the closest. I really liked the overall experience from the first sip to the after taste of this expression. Very easy to drink! My Bourbon/Whiskey pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with more than 50 tracked tastings, but less than 100 as of 2022. (That's not all consumed, just all appreciated outside of shots and mixers)

Isaac Bowman Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels
Bourbon — Virginia, USA
Reviewed September 30, 2022 (edited October 17, 2022)I like this expression a lot from Issac Bowman. It's sweet and smooth. A solid choice for a mildly abnormal sipper bourbon. My Bourbon/Whiskey pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with more than 50 tracked tastings, but less than 100 as of 2022. (That's not all consumed, just all appreciated outside of shots and mixers) -
Iron Smoke Special Reserve Single Barrel (Century Liquor Barrel #941)
Bourbon — Rochester, NY, USA
Reviewed September 30, 2022This is a decent every day, affordable bourbon. It's good on some rocks, but also in a cocktail. Has a bite to it when served neat. I'm not including much detail about flavor profiles, notes, and finish because as of right now, my Bourbon/Whiskey pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with more than 50 tracked tastings, but less than 100 as of 2022. (That's not all consumed, just all appreciated outside of shots and mixers) -
Horse Soldier Premium Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Ohio, USA
Reviewed September 30, 2022 (edited May 27, 2023)This is a fantastic affordable bourbon that remains in my top 10 to buy or recommend! It drinks very smooth. The emotional story behind the label makes it better as well. I'm not including much detail about flavor profiles, notes, and finish because as of right now, my Bourbon/Whiskey pallet is still pretty underdeveloped with more than 50 tracked tastings, but less than 100 as of 2022.
