A lot of similar notes to a russels single barrel

Ruby port finish. Could be someone else’s jam, but not mine. It’s dry, thin, just not for me.

Really really good. Good nose, great palate, it lingers but doesn’t burn. Really incredible.

Neat. Really good. Complex, spicy. Could have a longer finish. Blended bourbon is becoming very interesting to me, like hacking bourbon for the right flavors.

Strangely enough, well into my 12 month bourbon journey, I’m finally trying one of the most accessible, low priced, well reviews staples. And it lived up to the hype. It drank like a Russell SB. It’s wild how tasty and perfectly proofed this is. Put this in a blind and you will realize chasing bottles is a waste of time.
