I bought this thinking it was Green Label. What a mistake! This is a very dissapointing whiskey that does not compare to the whiskey it pretends to be. Not bad, per se, but it completely lacks the smokeyness and complexity of Green Label. Some iodine, some salt (likely from the Caol Ila), some butter:cream on the finish but not much else. Where is the peat, where is the smoke?

Nice balance of peat and sweet. Not a remakble whisky in any way, but certainly well balanced and pleasant to drink

Honey, honey, honey. Spicy finish but the most honey I’ve ever tasted in a single malt.
