Tastes

First of all, beautiful color. Good legs, sticks to the glass Nose: very sweet. For 131 proof, incredible. No alcohol at all. Palate: maple sugar candy, a little oak towards the finish. Drinks like a lower proof Finish: oaky, picks up heat and leaves the tongue tingling for a little while After adding a small ice cube, there is some tobacco on the nose and palate. As expected, the taste is mellowed out. Still quite enjoyable.

Nose: sweet fruit, much sweeter and soft than the LBF Palate: stone fruit, oak, slight pepper Finish: smooth, little oak and pepper on the end

LBF Single Barrel Pick Nose: dark fruit, little alcohol, oak Palate: lots of oak, some stone fruit Finish: medium. Oaky

Nose: mild mint Palate: moderate spice, good grainy taste, some mint and citrus Finish: lingers a little but smooth. Tongue tingling

Nose: slightly herbal, mint Palate: very smooth, nice rye taste, some mint Finish: slight citrus at the end, short finish

Nose: heavy on butterscotch. Some vanilla and a little marshmallow. Palate: sweet. Creamy vanilla Finish: soft but moderately long. Not overpowering. Finishes sweet

Nose: not quite sure what it is, but has a particular note that’s different. Palate: off putting upfront, kind of harsh and tastes cheap. Really opens up after 3-4 sips and you can taste the sweetness of the wheat. Slightly fruity. Not much oak. Finish: pretty short, more oak on the back end

Nose: fruit and oak Palate: cinnamon, pepper, oak Finish: light and pretty short
