Not feeling it today. Spicy, thin and basic. The flavors hang around but not too enjoyable today. Not worth chasing or overpaying for. Maker's 46, 101 and cask strength are tastier 'wheaters'.

Old Forester lite

Definitely a quality bourbon but the oak takes over. This reminds me of Russel's Reserve 10 year in that way. I wonder for who these low proof, well aged bourbons are for? The oak really tares up my palette. Eagle rare 10 year balances the oak best in this catagory and would be my first pick here.

At this price, five stars. Might be the best whiskey under $20.
