The tasting notes by Jake Emen are spot on again. This is a nice sipper with a strong peat note (peated Scotch noobie). Sweet like apple juice and very crushable at 61.5 abv. It's definitely a strong pour but I'm enjoying it. The peat is lite compared to Ardbeg but you'll still taste it. Batch: PW101562.0 USD per Bottle

Not your normal rye flavors. This is my first Texas whisky and the funk is in your face! For me, the Texas funk takes over the nose like a peated Scotch would. A quality whisky at a good price but I rarely reach for this bottle. Edit: I love this bottle now, go figure. Turns out whisky is good. Tons of spice and chocolate.57.0 USD per Bottle
