Tastes

The nose is actually very nice, if a bit artificial smelling. It reminds me of the foil wrapped strawberry hard candies with the gooey center. The taste, however, is nowhere near as pleasant. It's somehow both overwhelming sweet and overwhelming bitter. The strawberry flavor tastes like nothing natural, and the juniper does come through but it's a bit lack luster. The all around overwhelming flavor mellows out on the finish, and honestly it's not terrible. I can't justify buying it for just the nose and finish though. Sorry Snoop.

I was disappointed by this. I'd had it recommended to me by a friend. The nose was not bad. Juniper and rubbing alcohol. Most prominent on the tongue was the taste of rubbing alcohol however, with a vague juniper taste that almost made it worse in my opinion. It fell into the faint but present enough to not taste good category for me. Might be good in a gin and tonic, but I won't pay for it again to find out.
