Tastes

Big vanilla and ginger flavours straight away followed by lots of sweetness. Makes for a very tasty sipping rum as there is very little burn. Tastes as good as some spiced rums that are significantly more expensive.

Very mediocre. Not too good, not too bad, veering towards good. Tastes peppery in spice and there's a sweetness that comes through towards the end.

It's good. Not quite great, but not a bad purchase for it's price. Sweet taste and is easily drinkable neat or mixed. Similar to Kraken but with more spice and less caramel. Very little burn so makes a good sipping rum but works well in cocktails too.

A sweet and slightly smokey taste with hints of dark caramel and vanilla. For something you find in almost every shop (here in the UK anyway), it's a nice rum and doesn't taste as cheap as the other regulars of the corner shop shelf. Easily drinkable either neat or mixed with a cola or ginger beer.

A nice rum to sip neat. Sweet with strong woody notes followed by a suggestion of butterscotch and fruit. Would make a nice gift but it's a little on the expensive end.

Earthy and with lots of fig notes. Works well neat and mixed with cola. Not bad but there is better out there for that price like Bumbu or El Dorados 12 Year old.

Extremely sweet. Tastes so strongly of Banana that it could be sold as a flavoured rum, which is not ment as a complaint. Great sipped over ice, though it can get sickly.

Tastes similar to Luggar with a gummy cola sweet quality to it. Nicely spiced, quite sweet and with subtle wood notes. I found this best drank neat. Definitely better then what I was expecting and I will be buying it again.
