Tastes

Vanilla, toffee, smooth and a bit silky. There's dryness towards the end with some cream. Dominant flavors are vanilla, caramel, vanilla, and I'd say a bit of barley.

At cost, this compares to a Martell VS. Aged longer in sherry casks. Milder and smoother with long lasting after taste and heat in the palate and throat.

Similar to the younger Solera. However, this has a better depth with a milder bite.

Has a strong initial alcohol scent but mellows down to a bouquet of fruits. Sweet but has a bite. Suggest to have with ice or in cocktail.

Wood. Fruits, mostly Pear. Brine-salty scent. Dry. Surprised to taste marshmallow at the end.

Vanilla, woody, with hints of Cacao. Checking in from the Philippines so price per bottle could be higher/lower. I find this a good deal for the price.
