Tastes

Tasted at distillery with Dad and Will, 6/30/17....delicious whiskey!

Not much nose, soft hints. Taste is simple, smooth. The smokey end tastes great, but the other flavors smooths it out...it feels like there is strong smokey goodness being held back. Not bad, but was hoping for more.

Smooth and sweet. Long finish. Soft vanilla, caramel, enjoyable burn for a wheat!

Soft and gentle scotch. Malty, smooth, light vanilla, grainy, light smoke. A gateway scotch or crossover between bourbon and scotch fans to enjoy a taste of the other side

This one plays with the senses, hitting major bourbon nose and tasting notes! Nose of rye spices and slight barrel. Full, oily mouth feel. Taste is slightly sweet with lots of corn and more spice. Ends with cinnamon and mild heat, given the high proof. The finish is only medium, not like the usual never-ending hug from Bookers other offerings. 2 ice cubes, patio, mild summer night...and the last day of school for a teacher!!! Heavenly start to a summer!!!

Smooth in the mouth, warming/comforting kentucky hug after it goes down. Pretty smooth taste, mostly vanilla/heavy oak tastes. Wish the smell would be better.

High rye, but smoother than expected. A bit more heat than I'd like, but high proof so it makes sense. Wishing it would've been better. Tasted at the Willett distillery in March 2017.
