Tasty for the high proof, and relatively smooth! Tasted at distillery 3/26/17

Tasted much better at the distillery! Smooth, sweet, buttery, caramel and vanilla. 3/26/17 Also tasted the white dog...grainy smell but very smooth. Would make a good screw driver?!?!

Sweater and bolder than regular Jameson. Very tasty, toasty/roasty smell (smells like Guinness!), light body, quick finish with a single cube.

Cinnamon and spice at first, full body, oaky nosy with baked bread, rye and barrel...add water and rye becomes star of the show

Light body, caramel, slightly sweet, buttery, good finish, light burn. Tasted at distillery 3/25/17...and tasted even better!

Yum! A scotch that isn't a scotch...a young and American attempt at Laphroaig! Tasty!

The first Sherry'd whiskey I liked. With no smoke influence I finally understood what sherry does to a whiskey. It's fantastic and gave me a new found love for the Macallan in my collection that I had typically passed over and didn't enjoy before this whiskey! Yum! First of its category. Tasted after touring the distillery in Seattle in August 2016 with Laura. After smelling and handling the barley used, tasting the wash from the tank and nosing the raw spirit before barreling, this was easy to fall in love with! One of my favorites. The "single barrel" mini bottle (at barrel strength, straight from the barrel) was bottled by Laura and I, and only to be opened on a special occasion of her choosing in the future!
