Intense peat smoke on the nose with a subtle reminder of sitting by a campfire. One of my favourite whisky’s and the one that introduced me! The taste is complex yet softer. It is very smooth with a hint of salt yet the smoke persists in the long finish. No spice at all and a great dram to sit with on a cold winter’s night by the fire
