SUPER smooth for the ABV, but just way too sweet for my taste. However, I do think they’ve really created something that a lot of whiskey drinkers will enjoy.

I know I’m not the first to post this, but how in the h*ll did Distiller score this a 77? Don’t get me wrong, people have their own preferences, but Serge at WhiskyFun gave it a 91 (who if you’re unfamiliar with his site, absolutely kills most bottles; he’s tough & fair in my opinion) while Whisky Advocate scores it a 93. As someone who has had almost every CB LE released in the past 4-5 years, this beauty of dram is still one of my absolute favorites.

Not bad if it were somewhere in the mid $100 range. Quite frankly I found it overoaked to the point where I took little else from it. Much prefer the 15 followed by the 20.

Wonderful dram through and through. My first introduction to Benromach, but it certainly wasn’t my last.
