    Delicious peatedness. Quite sweet and with an unusually bright and cloudy colour, due to the lack of cold filtering. Despite having a higher alcohol content than Laphroaig, it feels a lot smoother

    Strong caramel and vanilla taste that reminds of Bourbon. Not surprising giving its maturing in Bourbon casks. Quite smooth and enjoyable but nothing special

    Very thick and sweet - almost brandy-like. Vanilla and lemon are the main flavours that comes to mind

    Fantastic - superbly well balanced with a smooth and sweet start followed by an oily, peated finish. Leaves a really strong and smoky aftertaste

    Very sweet and spicy at the same time - the former probably included by the cherry cask maturing and the latter by the higher-than-normal alcohol percentage. After-taste of orange zest. Very thick and smooth texture

    Strong smell or vanilla, which follows through to provide a quite sweet and smooth at the start but with a rather bitter taste towards the end. Pleasant and easy to drink - but nothing exceptional. Personally, I miss the peated notes of e.g. Laphroaig
