Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 23, 2020 (edited October 7, 2020)Smooth. good price. Semi complex taste. Pleasing and well rounded nose. Good neat or interesting on ice. May be a bit thinner seeming mouth feel. Really good $40 bottle, Stands up and is top notch at that price. -
Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 24, 2020 (edited June 12, 2022)Sweet, smooth, sweet on the nose, little thin on mouthfeel, great on palate, little kick on the finish. Compared to others at $30, this is top notch! EW single barrel as competitor and not much more compete for the value. -
I’m at 3! Tasting notes are sweet. It’s approachable. Non harsh. Best had neat. Good paired with a cigar and enjoyed with beginners. Room for improvement is lacks complexity, not a fully developed flavor or oakiness. Another strength to me I’m finding is that it proves valuable at the price point. Scale for me goes 1-Meh! 🤨 2-Eh. 🧐 2.5-Umm 🤷🏻♂️ 3-I like it! 👍 3.5- stock it 😎 4-gotta have it 😃 4.5-woah 🤪 5-mind blown 🤯

Apricot, cinnamon, apple, caramel. Smooth, and finishes easy. Finishes easier than 4 roses single barrel IMO - great neat and a bit thin to my pallate when on ice due to smoothness and fruit forward notes. My taste appreciates its ease of drink ability , price point, and approachability to both the advanced and novice whiskey drinker.35.0 USD per Bottle
