Rye forward. Dill pickle . Pine. Little oak. Low proof better neat to me than over ice. Ok for its price. Drawbacks are it tasting thin, low proof, and not complex. Pros are it’s more approachable and mellow.

Taste: smooth. Floral. Oak. Char is there and good proof level. Very approachable from the bourbon lover and the beginner. Balanced. Room for growth is it could be more complex, it’s not giving you like 5 flavors or more but more like 3. Nose: floral. Faint. Sweet. Pleasant. Easy and not a lot of ethanol. Finish: medium. Sits in the chest like a bourbon but goes down like a mix of Tennessee sweet and bourbon. Overall: I certainly appreciate it more than most others at this $45-$50 price range. The 111 is a step up from the Chattanooga 91, which also good, but this great.

Taste: brown sugar. Caramel. Finish: smooth. Medium. Nose: faint. Sweet. Floral a bit. Solid for the price of $35

Caramel, brown sugar, hickory smoke, maple, little oak. Bite at first, finishes pretty smooth, at $40, I like this. May be a little dryer than I anticipated, definitely a slow sipper.

Nose: oak, pepper, spice, caramel, strong nice scent. Taste: cinnamon, apple, honey, oak, pepper. Classic bourbon flavors taken up a notch. Finish: long. You can tell the 8+ year age statement is there when you taste it. It’s super rich, Overall review: Finds itself at the top or the barrel proof game for bourbons. Really high proof point but not overwhelming taste, and takes well to a cube or neat.

Apple. Honey. Cinnamon. Caramel. Delicious. Sweet. For the Money best bourbon I’ve had for $20.

It’s very smooth. It’s got a bite on the backend a bit adding rye. Smooth and not super complex but overall very enjoyable. I myself would recommend it to drink with a cigar as it won’t overpower with complexity or when hanging with a friend at home. Nice pour to share😁
