Spicy pecan / pecan shell smell. Color is very light but legs are strong! Hold well and can feel it in your mouth as it presses down against on your tongue while you drink. This is heavy! Initial taste is nothing but a gentle but over crowding spice which then fades away into a “im chewing tree bark” finish. Leaves your mouth dry. This new experience has left me wanting more.

Bardstown Bourbon Co. Origin Series Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 29, 2024Good strong legs, they hold their position well. Color in small quantities in glen cairn glass makes it look shiny gold next to the light. Shimmers, forehadowing the sweet vanilla milk chocolate note you get within the initial taste. Theres a new lemon custard finish that sits in the back of your tongue. Lingers for a while. Great bottle, i would buy one for my self. -
Old Forester Classic 86 Proof
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 8, 2024 (edited December 12, 2024)Dry. Aroma of sweet vanilla. Strong ethonol beggining that ends with bitter dark chocolate and Carmel finish and something spicy? Color is weak with a amber gold. Not appealing to the eye.
