Fruity and floral. Decent gateway scotch. Preferred this over the 18 year.

Smoke, tobacco and black licorice. Expectations fell short here.

Very smooth rye with light peppery and spice notes. Would be a good everyday sipper!

Allspice and pepper aromas. Oak, molasses and black licorice on the finish. A very solid and affordable rye.

Wow. Nose is cinnamon and vanilla, finish is candied pecans. Loads of complexity and a lingering warmth. Outstanding.

Batch No. A117, 127 proof. Wow. Nose is big hazelnut and cacao. Cinnamon, spice, rich and leathery. Nutty aftertaste. Definitely one of the best I've had.

Dumped on 7-13-17, barrel no. 892 Nose is sweet tobacco and dark fruit. Notes of brown sugar, leather and peppercorns. Buttery smooth like original Blanton's but with a whole new depth. Smells and drinks well below it's proof. The best of the Blanton's lineup for me.
