This is a blend of straight rye whiskeys from two distilleries. The rye whiskey from MGP in Indiana is made from a mash bill of 95% rye, 5% barley malt. There are two rye whiskeys from Barton Distillery in Kentucky.
One is made from a mash bill of 53% rye, 37% corn, 10% barley malt and the second mash bill is 80% rye, 10% corn, 10% barley malt. The rye whiskeys range in age from 5-19 years of age. .

RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.
