Tastes

Very drinkable. Pretty smooth, a little spicy at the start and then evens out to an oily mouth-feel that become more complex. It starts sweet and goes tart and a little sour. Second tasting 10/27: I didn’t get the tart and sour. It finished and was gone without lingering.

Warm and woody like fresh timber, a little sweet like carmel; good for sipping and recommended for cocktails as well. “Maryland mule” It makes me want snow outside my window while I’m on the couch. Might be hard to get outside of Maryland/the home distillery (in Baltimore).

Sweet and heavy but not too sweet. Cloves and cinnamon... “tastes like premature Christmas.” Amber. It’s nice.

Sharp smell and burns when tasted. Not bad when wafted and an ok finish after a rest(there was a hint of sherry in there) but it covered up any other complexities...just being itself. And this was with water!

Smooth, smokey, caramel; easy to drink, round flavor
