Its got a hefty amount of bite which masks a lot of the flavor. Makes for better mixing than sipping. Would opt for their Rye instead, which I believe is their best product.

My opinion is that I prefer the original. Although I prefer this to the sherry cask, which takes the sweetness over the top.
