Wow, quite the whisky. Like the stout of SMS. Not for everyday. But after long meal, or special occasion, for sure. A dessert whisky. Beautiful caramel sunshine in color. Give it maybe 30ish to open. Medium- intensity on nose. Hits you with dark malty sweetness, and hint of chocolate to come. On palette, the sweet but dark chocolate dominates. A hint of coconut and a bright fruit, maybe cherry like. Rich and medium- finish, that is light and easy.179.0 USD per Bottle

Sweet and fruity smell of slight honey, orange, and even some lemon. Touch of chocolate and some spice come out as it opens - give it at least 20 minutes and these flavors will now dominate. Light, medium- intensity. On the palette, orange peel and sea salt. Some oakiness remains as it lingers. Length is medium. Overall, medium- rich and fruity with hint of ocean, typical OP traits.140.0 USD per Bottle

Light straw yellow. After opening, fruit dominates, but hint of smoke also. Touch of spice. On palette, very nice, sweet vanilla starts you off. Mixes nicely with the hint of smoke and some ocean salt and citrus. The smoke lingers a touch. Lighter and not ever long, but just right with light chocolate on the back. Great value - for the price, lots of whisky here.70.0 USD per Bottle

Macallan Double Cask 15 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 25, 2021 (edited March 10, 2021)Warm sherry, and dried raisin aroma. Nuts. Intense sweet aroma. On palette, fruit and vanilla. A bit toasty, long, and very tasty. Touch of chocolate. Warm. -
Fun, easy to drink for an Ardbeg. More fruit on nose than smoke. Sweet. Lighter than you’d think on the palette. Wispy smoke lingers on tongue but as mentioned in Distiller review, very light in mid palette. Touch bitter at end but not unpleasant. Definitely a woodsy bitterness on the tongue. Enjoyable. Not a re-buy.

Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 22, 2021 (edited March 1, 2021)Great value for price!! On the nose, sweet honey, and a strong grainy youthful+ aroma. Cereal. Touch of citrus. You do taste the youth - not an aged whisky. Touch, small, of rubber and some light brioche. Slight wisp of smoke. But the taste is sweet and long and lingers. You can feel some oaky tannin as it leaves the palette. -
