Rigas Balsams is one of my favourite bitters. This special edition is oak barrel aged which had softened the edges slightly. Not sure which is the best one. Anyway, bitter, medicinal, great!

To me a very pleasant rye. Very clean and gentle but the typical rye spice attack appears at the very end of the finish. Good stuff!

Light, gentle and smooth, like the other of this family winery and distillery’s offerings. Perfumy with hints of cinnamon and freshly squeezed apple juice. Like a Young calvados. Keep it up!
