    A quite good all-around bourbon for a reasonable price (not so in Canada). Good flavors with just enough sweetness and smoothness to sip it, preferably on the rocks. It’s not too complex but, it’s enjoyable without getting boring.

    Not a bad rum but, maybe too simple, not much body or depth, burns a little, the bottle is much nicer than the rum itself.

    This is a great small batch Irish gin, authentic and smooth. You can easily pick the juniper and citrus notes, however the maritime profile is very prominent. Unfortunately, that’s also the reason why it didn’t get a perfect score. I’ve tried maritime gins before but, I felt that the seaweed was too savory. I tried it neat, on ice and in G&T. It went well although I ended up sticking to the tonic to balance it out.

    A nice “happy hour” friendly gin, decently smooth with just enough ginger and lime notes to keep the promise, goes well with cocktails or lots of ice to cool you off during a hot summer day.

    Easy to drink Scotch, light peaty sweetness with a bit of caramel, vanilla, oak and spice. Smooth with just enough burn. Definitely not complex but very good value!

    I really wanted to like this one but, it just didn’t work for me. It’s definitely more herbal and sappy than others, it has a somewhat bitter aftertaste and sticky sweetness. We are still struggling to finish the bottle but, lots of ice helps a little.

    We usually enjoy pistachio products but, this one didn’t live up to our expectations. It was quite earthy, thick and it sort of tasted more like the skin of the pistachios. Is it perhaps too “traditional“ for the international market or, is it really missing something?
