Crown Royal Vanilla
Flavored Whiskey — Manitoba, Canada
Reviewed October 27, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Fine as a mixer but on its own I find it to be too sickly sweet and artificial tasting. And this is coming from someone who loves vanilla. Stick to mixing with coke and you’ll have a great experience, but don’t attempt to drink this one on its own. -
I wouldn’t classify this as a whisky exactly, because it’s loaded down with artificial apple flavour. That being said this is great as a cocktail mixer and it can even be enjoyed on its own over ice. Just remember that this isn’t a pure whisky experience. Overall it’s enjoyable if you like a warm apple cider flavour.

McClelland's Single Malt Islay
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed October 27, 2017 (edited February 17, 2019)This is the worst Scotch I have ever had. The palate is nothing but smoke and there’s no complexity here whatsoever. If you think the taste of a camp fire to be appealing then perhaps this one is for you, but I’d recommend spending just a bit more and getting something more robust. -
