    Aromas of agave. Orange vanilla. Cotton candy. Flavors lose the sweetness and the first flavor is agave and alcohol heat to start. Medium finish with pepper and a touch of vanilla lingering behind.

    Aroma is disappointingly just grain and alcohol I had hoped for some stout characteristics. Chocolate. Coffee. Sweetness. Dark fruit. Ok. Maybe a hint or chocolate in there upon a second sniff. Flavors are better. Sweetness comes on the finish. But before that butterscotch and sugar. Better flavor than aroma.

    Aromas hint at sweetness but don’t give it away. Yellow and white flowers. Flavors are a little more fruit than flower with the brighter fruits winning out. Short finish.

    Had not intended to taste this one today but having only ever seen Sapphire behind the bar I was intrigued when I saw it. As a relatively new gin drinker I don’t know that I’m tasting the difference. Might need to do a side by side. Floral in the nose and the tongue. More pronounced in the aroma tho.

    Aromas of sweet corn (or is that me knowing it’s a “corn whiskey”?) and sweet vanilla and cinnamon. Cinnamon plays through on the tongue too with more vanilla and a hot finish that moves back through the nose again.

    Aromas of orange and honey. Anise too. Expectations of sweetness to come. Flavor does not disappoint on the sweetness. It’s there in full force. A little cloying. Anise and cinnamon.
