Tastes

Smells heavy of rye, but surprisingly not as spicy as one would think. Tastes very smooth, with this clean butter flavor and a finish of light honey. One of the more expensive (for me) bourbon I've had so far and it's definitely justifies its price

Nose: can definitely tell this is a sweeter bourbon as the smell of rye is duller in this one. Taste is some of that sweetness aided by the taste of vanilla and a light aftertaste of spice.

Lightest bourbon I'm trying so far. The nose and flavors both seem pretty subtle. I can smell the corn with some the underneath. Taste: rye, not as strong as other bourbons I've tried so far, and a little bit of sugar coming up through the rye.

This year's barrel (Oct 2019) has a strong note of caramel with undertones of vanilla and baked goods

Makes me think of sweet vanilla bread, delicious!

Second serious try at Bourbon. This one almost seems more bubbly as the spice from the rye hits you near instantly and attacks every inch of taste buds...

First serious venture into Bourbon. Flavor hits smooth at first but goes down full of spice. I know this is a high rye so that's something to be expected...
