Duncan Taylor 2014 Bunnahabhain 10 TWL Peat Monster
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed October 17, 2025Lives up to it's name, "Peat Monster". Smooth smoke on the nose. On the palate: oily, lots of peat, smoke, oak and salt. Some pepper and only a mild hint of sherry. Even though it's 54% it feels like it's 60%, but also smooth at the same time. Nil water required. Almost rated this 4.75 and may update to do so. It will be interesting to see how this holds up against Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength.
