Rich, honey, has something unique going on i cant put my finger on. Dark fruit? Fig? Slowly turns to a spicy finish. Mabe a touch of licorice on the finish. Not extraordinary long but it’s there. Wish i had it in a glencairn. For whatever reason I’ve passed on this..may have to pick up a bottle next time i see it.

Nose: caramel Palate: sweet up front, honey, maybe some pear. Thin. Finish: some spice, short Good to try something new (at least for me). Nothing to complain about, easy sipper, but not anything I would go hunt for.

Series 01, barrel #41 Nose: Caramel, some alcohol Palette: sweet, apple pie, creamy Finish: moderate, spice but sweetness continues Enjoyable bourbon. $75 may be a bit too much, but enjoyed it. Will have to blind it with some others. At 100 proof, it probably doesn't stand up to barrel proof options at $60-80, but will still be a good every day sipper until I finish the bottle.

Nose: Subtle vanilla, oak Palate: Flavorful, pear, followed by baking spices Finish: Moderate, smooth, spicy at end. Overall very enjoyable. I would buy it again.

Nose: A very distinct aroma but hard to put my finger on..licorice? Sweet bread? Maybe it's the wheated bourbon I'm not used to. Palate: Apple pie, turns to spice, oak. Finish: medium length...did not pick up anything new Overall, I really enjoyed this. Maybe I'm not used to wheated bourbons and might be a little unique for me. I had this at home with a blind tasting along with a few that cost 2 to 3 times and was surprised how I enjoyed it as much as the others. I do enjoy Makers 46 and their some of their select series, just been a while since I've had some. My problem is their are too many bourbons out there to try them all (guess not a bad problem to have).

Nose: Sweet corn Palate: Sweet, Carmel, Honey Finish: moderate, spicy

Nose: Carmel and oak. Rich and what I think what a Bourbon aroma should be. Palate: Bold, spicy and sweet at the same time. Finish: Long with some heat.

Vanilla up front, cinnamon, bit of woody taste (oak?), lingering spicy finish. Very enjoyable!
