This is GREAT! I actually feel sorry for other bourbons trying to compete. Hot but smooth. Flavor, flavor, flavor. Chilled water sweetens and opens up the floral notes. This is a go to if Blanton's is unavailable at the same $60 price.

I am a chef. I make my "bourbon" marinades, desserts and bbq sauces with this whiskey due to its lack of smokiness. It has almost no smoke to it at all. Smokey notes come through too strong with other similarly low priced whiskey. (Evan,Beam etc)

Nice pour. I don't buy it when its full price, but it is a go-to when its on sale or for a follow-up drink when I am out. A bit more full bodied than I like in bourbon. $31.95 on sale in NC

Nice smooth bourbon. Not the best $40 bourbon out there but it is better than most $40 pours.

Pure liquid gold. Both figuratively and literally. It is sooo hard to find in NC. I have only had it at a restaurant bar. Hard to not give 5 stars.
