This is a more rounded version of Bruichladdich Classic Laddie. You won’t find much more information from Duncan Taylor other than the distillery and age statement, something Bruichladdich fans have become used to. The nose has notes of buttered popcorn, sea air and pepper. On the palate you would swear it’s peated just like the Laddie with buttered biscuits, burnt match and pepper carrying through the taste. The flavors lift off of the tongue and leave behind light fruits and vanilla. All in all this is an excellent whiskey, where it falls flat is the price, coming in at $189 at my local TW it is rather pricey. I think for the slight difference in flavor I will stick with the “Laddie” or Bere Barley.189.0 USD per Bottle
