Heaven Hill Bottled In Bond 7 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 10, 2021 (edited February 17, 2021)A decent pour, but please don’t pay the secondary price on this. It’s worth having on your self if you can grab it at retail. To me this tastes like a less refined old Fitzgerald BiB. The finish is like the lower Heaven Hill lines. -
Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Very Fine Rare Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 15, 2021 (edited March 10, 2021)Nose is incredible, as many of the other reviews have stated, this would be top shelf if it was higher proof. With that being said, this is one of the best sub 100 proofs I’ve had. -
First off: this is wildly unique. The nose is one of the most robust I have ever smelled. The front end of the first sip is very aggressive (forward ethanol up front) but finishes smooth and complex. That being said, the secondary price for this is certainly not worth it. I would put it on par with the Buffalo trace Antique collection. The shear uniqueness of this is worth a 1 oz pour to try. Everyone is going to think differently about this because of the profile.60.0 USD per PourOld Kentucky Bourbon Bar LLC

Old Forester 150th Anniversary Bourbon (Batch 02)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 5, 2020 (edited December 16, 2020)This has very similar notes to my single barrel barrel proof I have at home on the shelf - only it is certainly smoother. A finish that heats gently and fades away with the subtle notes of old forester that I love. Fantastic and certainly worth a try, but not worth the secondary price45.0 USD per PourOld Kentucky Bourbon Bar LLC -
Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 1
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 21, 2020 (edited January 1, 2021)The best of the big boys. The flavor profile of this pour truly is unique. Honestly, I prefer this to its father (depending on batch of course). Even the secondary price of this is worth it. Oak & light cherry finish with a smooth and tempered burn + a nose that means business. Pulled this as #1 with multiple blind taste tests (with WFp, Blantons, bookers, multiple batches of ECBP). A must pour
