Definitely not spicy as the chart would suggest. Sweetness is the most distinctive attribute. Doesn’t sip like 100 proof. Not overly complex, but a decent pour if you prefer something sweet and fruity. Reminds me of Woodford a bit.

My favorite of the bookers so far! Not much nose but a hell of a flavorful finish.

The finest of the OF historical series. In fact I would put this pour up against most Barrel Proofs - not to mention you can find this on the shelves. Even though this pour tastes incredible, the nose is the true icing on the cake for this experience. Has the OF unique ethonolic flavor, amplified by the bright complexity of a smooth high proof burn. This is a fantastic treat that everyone can and should enjoy.

The second tasting I’ve been lucky enough to have for a reasonable price. This is so solid. My favorite of the Weller line (yes this beats full proof). Differences obviously very by barrel but the two I have had are top notch.

Very solid, spicy and keeps its turkey character. This is what Wild Turkey was meant to be.

Solid buttery bread in both the nose and the palate. That was a spot on description. Also has an incredibly smooth and flavorful finish. This one is well worth it, whatever it is.

Oak, smoke, and leather. Big OF fan and this as a fantastic pour that takes you back.

The most underrated pour you will ever see on a shelf. This barrel strength is one of my favorites. So many flavors and a finish with a nice bite that really opens up your mouth to all its complexities. Sipps like something that you can only buy on the secondary, but you can actually find it on the shelves for less than $50. A must try.

The first time I had this at the local bourbon bar I was not impressed. Saw a bottle on the shelf and really just bought it because of the rarity for my collection. Cracked it open this evening to see if it was as unimpressive as I remember and I had a completely different experience. Incredible nose and a brilliant finish. Guess there really is a ton of variation in single barrels!
