Tastes

Oak-y mixed with light fruit (apple/appricot). Slight burn/heat for a 17yr. Little bit of water makes the texture really velvety and lessens the heat. Nice lingering finish.

Neat - Light smoke and brine, caramel and molasses, but a tad astringent. Just a little water really brings out the flavors and eliminates the astringent quality. So smooth. Like a slightly smoky creme brulee/flan. Pretty incredible
