Yikes. Way too much juniper for my taste.

Spicy and rich almost immediately followed by a long, climbing burn. A very subtle honey undertone throughout. Spicy finish lingers on the pallate well after tasting. Don't, just don't.

Flora nose. Floral flavors extent into the tasting profile with a small spicy spike in the middle of the taste, the burn extends beyond the finish, but in a surprisingly sophisticated way. This may may be my favorite micro-distilled wheated whiskey.

Sadly, Trace can vary greatly by batch. 2019 releases are a strong outing and deserve a try if you haven't had it in awhile. Nose takes a touch of Carmel, but flavor flattens up front but still take an instant burn and taper just as quick, common amonst Trace.Bourbons. Finish is simple, making it a fine dinner bourbon.

Spicy citrus nose. Immediate spike of orange liquorish that tapers quickly to a unique carmel finish. Overall profile is indicative Trace product.

Wheated bourbon nose indicative of a Heaven Hill product. Smooth across the profile with a small spike on your exhail. Vanilla to start, moving to a light pine. The finish makes this bourbon. Extremely refreshing on a big rock."

Honey nose, flavors of subtle liquorish up front growing to a mild burn then quickly tapering only to spike again at the end. A tad of juniper finish. Complex flow of flavors throughout.

Carmel nose and flavor swiftly moving to a sharp burn than tapers quickly, but leaves a hint of smoke behind. Sophisticated, like a game of chess in a winter cabin.
