(Warning! Inconsistent barrels!) 1st bottle: Nose has a honey undertone and light citrus overtone. This is a masterpiece that belongs in the Bourbon barrel proof club. Caramel undertone that flows through the pallet. Burn and spice peaks at the finish. ... Had a different bottle... 2nd bottle: Nose was all brown sugar. Burn is overwhelming in the middle of the pallets. None of the sour mash qualities present in my prior bottle.

Nose is mild apricot and honey through and through. The pallet has sweet in front and also finishes sweet with the spice and burn hammered home in the middle. Very complex and perhaps my favorite finish in bourbon.

Spicy nose with an undertone of honey and apricot. Sweet undertone starting immediately then subsiding to spice and burn peaking at the finish. Richness and complexity falls almost entirely in the back. This is a great bourbon, but impossible to find and expensive too.

Perhaps the most complex nose in bourbon—spicy flattening to very caramel. Spice and burn up from matches the nose this too flattens to the sweet of cinnamon and Carmel then finishes with a lasting spice and echo of burn. Unique amongst the Trace family.

Nose has a vanilla and cinnamon current with a spicy overtone. Very smooth with a slight burn toward the end. Sweet tones maintain but the spice is muted and not complex as I would expect in bourbon.

Carmel and apricot immediate on the nose. Taste of oak but smooth. Front start with honey then matures to a laying spice that satisfies.

Citrus and floral aroma with a tad of honey. Very much a oak flavor throughout finishing sweetly. Burn spikes in the middle.

The nose is identified Trace.... Carmel and honey. Spicy front and barely a burn. Sweet finish. Very challenging not to guzzle. Tinny undertone that is magic typically found in 15 year and older bourbons. May be the best 10 yr on the planet.

Spicy quick burn up front smoothing out to a nice finish with hints of Carmel and chocolate. Not rye flavor at all, making it my favorite rye.

Spendy and hard to find, but a very delicious bourbon with a carmel nose a distinctive Trace burn that peaks quickly to a smooth finish with lightly Smokey tones.
