Tastes

Nose: charred earthy barbecue Palate: much lighter mouthfeel then expected. slightly sweet- Earthy. slightly medicinal novocaine flavor can be found. Finish: aftertaste slightly lingering earthiness and sweetness, very light mouthfeel. Overall: pretty decent! Well worth what I paid. Much more interesting then I expected and more smoke then I expected in this pour.

Nose- Sweet with a trace of tropical banana. Palate: sweet with a tropical hint. Finish: not quite able to place the flavor but not very sweet. But fades to a unsweetened fruit cocktail juice over time. Very drinkable!

Nose: aged fruit Palate: maltiness (others described as caramel or toffee) and fruitiness. Finish: syrupy aftertaste similar to fruit cocktail not heavy sweetness though. Very drinkable, at this point it’s definitely my go-to Rye!

Not going to hate on it too much. I would just never under any circumstances drink it. Might be the first bottle I ever pour out if I can’t find anyone else liking it. I make everyone try a small pour and they feel the same. I appreciate almost every whisky I try even if it’s not my favorite. I wanted to like this as a cheaper rye. Very disappointing.

Nose: Alcohol, coppery earthiness. Palate: balanced without any flavor really standing out, smooth. Finish: very light aftertaste of the coppery fruit with a slight earthiness.

Color: very similar to standard Jameson slightly darker. Nose: light with fruit and another I can’t quite place. Palate: Toffee, fruit, maybe a tiny trace of hop- like flavor (but maybe it’s me searching in my head) Finish: Lingers longer than traditional Jameson. Very interesting to try, especially side by side with standard Jameson

Great! Very smooth like All Irish, lightly Peated and extremely easy to drink!

Nose: Hot Grain especially corn Palate: Grain, corn, slight dried grain taste, so light spice and oak flavor. Finish: initially a slight oak and corn with the oak fading away quicker. Overall: Something different, it’s ok worth a try to see if its for you! For me, there are better options at the price point.

Nose: Creamy light fruit with a slight medicinal smell Palate- very light and grassy, slightly medicinal, super light to the point where f you eat almost anything with it or drink before it you cover it up. Finish: the medicinal flavor fades to a slightly cream aftertaste. Okay drink just not worth the price
