Crown Royal Salted Caramel
Flavored Whiskey — Canada
Reviewed August 16, 2018 (edited October 25, 2020)Although I love salted caramel desserts, this one just seemed too sweet for me. Starts off with a rich caramel taste on the lips and softens to a sugary butterscotch finish. An excellent drink to have after dinner if you're looking for something to have with or after dessert. Cigar pairing: San Cristobal de La Habana La Fuerza, Vegas Robaina Unicos or Trinidad Especiales. -
Perfect with cigars! Starts with strong traces of caramel and chocolate with a smokey and oaky profile. There's a subtle presence of roasted coffee/espresso from middle to finish. Take your time with this as this makes an exceptional sipping rum. Cigar pairing: Bolivar Belicoso Finos, Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona, Montecristo No. 4.37.0 CAD per Bottle

A nice medium-bodied rum. Starts off with a strong hint of caramel on the lips with traces of honey, pears and bananas. Overall, it's a subtle rum to sip after dessert. Ends with a sharp finish that can be a bit bitter if had before a meal. Cigar recommendation: Padron 1964 Anniversario, Avo Domaine Maduro, Hoyo de Monterrey Coronation40.0 CAD per Bottle
