Tastes

This one requires the understanding that this is an everyday drinker/mixer. And it's a blended whiskey. Don't drink this expecting a complex experience but for what it is I would say it is good and, for the price, would buy it again.

I found this an interesting dram. In my whiskey experience, you take a sip...mull over the flavors...swallow and then experience the finish. The hibachi I tried was a straight experience. The initial taste/experience was the exact same as the taste/experience of the finish. I don't say this in a bad way it was just an interesting change of pace I would do again. Nose was similar to a scotch just lacking the peat aroma. Taste was smooth, semi-sweet. Rich. Fruity undertones.
