Blend DJXI. The port flavor comes through strongly with a sweet, maybe almost sickeningly sweet, taste.

There is a nice initial burst of sweet apple flavor that comes through, but then it has a long finish of bitterness, spices, and medicinal cherry.

Don’t get much on the nose. Some cacao and vanilla and oak as well, but a slight hint of a medicinal cherry as well. Rich in body - a pretty classic bourbon overall.

The taste of the banana gives me hints of Asian pear and honey — if you’ve ever had banana flavor milk typically bought in Asian grocery stores, this tastes just like it. Definitely a novelty bourbon, like the Screwball of banana.
