Tastes

Heavy smoke with a long finish of smoke. Have to leave room between sips or you lose some of the lighter notes. Really nice, though, if you like smoke. Later in the glass, that marshmallow starts to come through more. This was great.

Rich and smooth. Delicious. The Greyjoy from Talisker is still my favorite of this set.

I have no complaints whatsoever about this one. I also don’t have anything that leaps out to me. It’s smooth, it’s wonderful, but I don’t find it that interesting.

After reading the tasting notes, I was convinced this might be my favorite whiskey of all time. Having bought a bottle now, I might not go that far, but man is it great.

First Talisker for me and I’m now a big fan. Heavy peat, a little salt. Sort of one note.
