Tastes

Banana on the nose. Caramel, almost burnt. Plenty of fire in the finish but pleasant and subsiding to a warm almost sweet end.

Delicate but with a good flavour. Nose has definite apple and a slight floral / blossom sweetness but nothing as rich as caramel. Medium on the palate with some definite smoke that really comes to the fore in the finish.

Salt and peat on the nose from the bottle. The same on the pallet but it's youth mutes the power somewhat. An interesting whisky and will be good to see it a little further aged. ~4yrs.

Caramel, some dried fruits but not too sweet. A favourite.
