Good balance of sweetness, citrus, brine, and smoke from the nose into the finish. Peatiness is rich without being overly medicinal, though a drop of water destroys the faint smoke/peat of this pour. Overall a good value and intro to Islay without being overwhelming.

Full bodied, creamy, creme brulee. Hints of fruit and sherry in palate. Slightly briny as well which was a good contrast to the initial notes
